The Claim to Fame houseguests think they might know Lark’s celebrity relative. However, she now reveals that no one’s guess has even come close.
Lark has remained quite a mystery on Claim to Fame, and she revealed that, so far, none of the contestants have guessed her celebrity relative correctly. In the first episode of the show, Lark revealed that her celebrity relative was her aunt. Later in that episode, Brittany won the Claim to Fame talent show challenge, and she chose to receive a clue about Lark as her prize. The clue was a puzzle that translated to “Runway Queen in the ’80s.” Brittany could not decipher the hint, but the audience was given the answer.
During the Claim to Fame week 4 fashion show, the contestants wore articles of clothing that were clues to their relatives’ identities. Lark’s clue was a pair of cutoff jean shorts that she told the audience were definitely supposed to hint at the shorts that her aunt wore in her famous commercial. However, Lark’s fellow Claim to Fame contestants were completely off-track. They got involved with looking at the Clue Wall, and noticed gardening tools which made them think that Lark could be related to Martha Stewart. They also saw a birdhouse which made them think of the movie Bird Box. This led them to believe that Lark could be related to Sandra Bullock, but, during the week 6 lie detector challenge, Lark confirmed that her celebrity relative was not in that film.
In an Instagram post shared by Claim to Fame, Lark revealed that none of her fellow contestants have guessed her celebrity relative yet. She said, “It feels good being in the final six. I haven’t heard anyone say my celebrity relative or come close even really.” Lark went on to say that the Claim to Fame contestants are “still pretty hung up” between Martha Stewart and Sandra Bullock guesses, but neither are correct. She shared that she definitely wanted “to play into that.”
Referring to some of her clues, Lark added, “Martha Stewart’s never walked a runway or done any modeling as far as I know.” However, Claim to Fame included a disclaimer on the video at that point that said, “Stewart actually was a model!” Fans of Martha know that she did fashion modeling for Chanel to help pay her college tuition.
Although Lark’s identity has been a mystery to her fellow contestants, Claim to Fame fans have been speculating about her identity. Many believe that she might be 80’s supermodel Cindy Crawford’s niece based on the clues that have been revealed so far. If Lark continues on this path, she could win the competition. Claim to Fame contestants can be eliminated in one of two ways: by having someone guess their true identity or by guessing incorrectly. If Lark can continue to keep her fellow contestants off-track, they might guess her wrong until she wins the $100,000 prize.
Claim to Fame airs Mondays at 10 p.m. EST on ABC.
