Kyle Sandilands and Tegan Kynaston’s wedding is just one month away and the RSVP cut-off date has come and gone.
But several high-profile guests still haven’t confirmed their attendance, despite the nuptials shaping up to be the biggest celebrity event of 2023.
The likes of Guy Sebastian and Prime Minister Anthony Albanese still haven’t replied to their invitations, Sandilands revealed on air on Wednesday.
‘The wedding planner said it’s quite normal for 25 per cent of the people [to not show up]. I said, “Not [at] my wedding,”‘ he declared.
Sandilands then listed off the big names who had yet to RSVP.
First on the list were Guy and Jules Sebastian, although Sandilands gave them a pass because he knows for sure they will be attending.
That’s because he has already booked flights for Sebastian’s band members.
Next was KIIS FM newsreader Brooklyn Ross and his boyfriend Damien; however, Ross insisted he had RSVP’d for them both.
Mr Albanese and his partner Jodie Haydon were also on the list.
But despite not receiving a formal response, Sandilands said he had ‘heard from the [Australian] Federal Police’ about security details for the ceremony, so he is confident the PM and Ms Haydon will attend.
Jewellers Tarick and Zena Kaddour from House of K’Dor, who designed Kynaston’s engagement ring as well as the couple’s wedding rings, also did not RSVP.
Neither did several other of Kynaston’s guests, including two of her bridesmaids, both of whom have already been fitted for their dresses.
Sandilands and Kynaston will tie the knot on April 29, and the radio king has spared no expense for the ceremony.
He revealed just a few weeks ago he had already spent $250,000 on flowers and catering alone.
