KL Rahul finds support from Suniel Shetty as he battles poor form; the latter says: “I’ve been trolled all my life”

KL Rahul and Athiya Shetty tied the knot earlier this year. He is the captain of the IPL team Lucknow. KL Rahul has been struggling with poor form of late. Like many cricketers, his run of bad luck and drought was quite prolonged. His father-in-law and Bollywood actor Suniel Shetty was asked about the player’s poor form. But the cricketer did not start much of a debate on how KL Rahul was trolled. He said he’s aware of the backlash he’s facing, but he’s not too worried about it. SUNYEL SHETTY DRAWS A PARALLEL WITH HIMSELF
The actor said he has faced mean comments all his life. He said people called him a bad actor for years. Suniel Shetty said that KL Rahul and he chose professions that they knew would have public scrutiny. He admitted that people ask him how he lifts the player’s spirits. He said that the fact that KL Rahul is playing for the nation is a huge honor in itself. He was quoted as saying: “He is playing for the country. The honor of being selected to play for the country and being selected for that is a huge honor in itself.” Unfortunately, even Athiya Shetty has faced bad comments due to KL Rahul’s loss of form. SUNIEL SHETTY SAYS THERE IS NO FORMULA
The actor said that ups and downs are part of life. Suniel Shetty said that when people come home after a bad day at work, the family de-stresses. He said he wondered who these trolls were. He said this is the frustration of trolls that come out when they become mean and vicious. He was quoted as saying: “Who are these people trolling? How important are they? What have they been through? Sometimes I feel sorry for them.” He gave the interview to Hindustan Times. He said that KL Rahul should score runs and silence his detractors. SUNIEL SHETTY HAS FULL FAITH IN KL RAHUL
Suniel Shetty said there are many reasons why athletes experience a loss of form. He said many children go through highs and lows in life. He said this time was a learning experience for KL Rahul. He said he is a strong boy and has been playing since 11. Suniel Shetty was quoted as saying, “I love the way he plays. I’m not one to make fun of an athlete for anything. I am blessed to have Rahul come into the family. But I was a fan of Rahul even before and I am a fan of Rahul even today.”
