King Charles and Camilla, Queen Consort were pictured as they attended a private service at the small parish church on Sunday. The couple, who have been staying in Scotland over the past few weeks, have attended the service for three weeks in a row.

The pair have been spotted in the back of a car being driven to the small church on several occasions since the Queen died.

The King looked smart in a beige tweed jacket worn with a gold, blue and black striped tie.

Meanwhile, Camilla wore a green coat with a bright red collar, which she teamed with a green beret adorned with an eye-catching feather and simple jewellery.

The couple also attended a ceremony at the church last week.

Since the death of his late mother, Charles and Camilla have been staying in Scotland while also travelling to England, Wales and Northern Ireland for engagements.

But notably, the couple have attended the private church service at Crathie Kirk for a number of weeks now.

It is a royal tradition that was beloved by the late monarch, who frequently attended church when staying at her nearby Balmoral estate.

Following the end of the mourning period for the Queen, the royal couple were spotted arriving in their car to the Sunday service dressed in mourning clothes.

Charles wore a black tie while Camilla opted for a black hat and matching coat.

Last week, the pair were spotted wearing normal clothing for the service.

Following the Queen’s state funeral, the royal couple are understood to be staying at Birkhall, their home on the estate.

Charles inherited Birkhall from the Queen Mother when she died in 2002, and often spends summers there with Camilla.

He also inherited his grandmother’s Scottish holiday home, the Castle of Mey, later opening a bed-and-breakfast within the property’s grounds.

Now, he has inherited the entire Balmoral Estate from his late mother, after she sadly died last month.

A brand-new picture of the grand Scottish residence was shared on Instagram over the weekend – the first shared photograph since Charles took over as the new owner.

The image of the breathtaking castle was captioned: “A beautiful autumn day at Balmoral Caste”.
