Kappahl is launching a new innovative product – a dress that can be worn and styled in multiple ways to suit all occasions. The dress is made of sustainable materials and is available in two colourways – black and red. Kappahl is aiming to reduce its carbon footprint across the entire value chain with this new dress.

“Taking a long-lasting, timeless approach and creating fashion with multiple uses is another way of developing our sustainable design philosophy. For us, it is not just about the garment itself, it is about embracing the future and exploring new ways of dressing”, says Louise Plato, Designer at Kappahl Woman.

When creating this dress, the guiding principle was ‘innovation’. Along with fashion and versatility, Kappahl is for a wardrobe of long-lasting clothes that are fun and focus on longevity. 75 per cent of the range is made from sustainable raw materials and their goal is to convert to 100 percent by 2025.

The brand believes in celebrating diversity in everyday life and wants to help broaden the definition of ‘diversity’ to include many modes of living – keeping people encouraged to always stay true to themselves.

“During the design process, we developed innovative details to maximise styling options. The dress can be effortlessly adapted from timelessly classic to a more dressed-up look by adding or paring back to suit all occasions in life”, says Hanna Lindström, Pattern Maker at Kappahl.

The dress will go on sale in selected stores and online from November 2022.

Founded in 1953 in Gothenburg, Sweden, the Kappahl Group is a leading fashion chain in the Nordics, with around 370 Kappahl and Newbie stores, and Shop Online in Sweden, Norway, Finland, Denmark, Poland and the UK.
