Rishabh Shetty does not want Kantara to be remade in Hindi
Rishab Shetty starrer, Kantara is in huge buzz in Entertainment News lately. In an interview with ETimes, the Kantara director and actor was asked that there is probably no chance of a Hindi adaptation of the film being made as a Hindi dubbed version was released at the same time. When he pointed it out, he said it was better. But when he was pushed that if Kantara was made in Hindi, who would have thought he could step into his role? Rishabh Shetty said that to play such a character, one has to believe in the roots and culture. The actor added that although he admires many big stars in the Hindi film industry, he is not interested in remakes.

Rishabh Shetty talks about south films doing well across the country

When asked about the popular debate, the actor said it is seasonal, adding that every industry has its ups and downs. Rishabh added that audiences no longer divide films based on boundaries and accept all films as Indian cinema. Although Kantara is a Kannada film, it is a part of Indian cinema.
