Kangana Ranaut talks about shady audition offices and offers, ‘you’ve seen the bottom of Bollywood’

Kangana Ranaut, who is a star in Bollywood, has opened up about her early days in the industry. She shared her tough days while auditioning for Gangster. She made her big debut in Hindi films with Gangster when she was just 19. Her performance was highly appreciated and since then she has appeared in several films. Tiku Weds Sheru starring Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Avneet Kaur is about two people with big acting dreams. Kangana Ranaut, who is producing the films, says it is a tribute to those who come to Mumbai with the dream of becoming stars. She said that this film is a heartfelt ode and a love letter to those who come to the city and somewhere lose their dreams, but in the end find something much more meaningful. With that, she recalls her audition days and is thankful to Anurag Basu if he hadn’t given her Gangster where she would be today. Talking about her audition days, she said she would face rejections every day. But one choice changed her life when Anurag Basu endorsed her. Kangana Ranaut says that she was driven by passion from the age of 15 and didn’t write love letters like other girls her age, as she was already on set then. The actress went on to say that she pursued a career in her teenage years. Because her life was full of struggles and few successes. She further added that all of us including Sir Nawazuddin have gone through the dross of these hard days. Kangana says today she has everything as a star, fans and the world is very kind. However, she has also seen the other side of Mumbai. She says she has seen the underbelly of Bollywood, calling it shady audition and offer offices. Kangana Ranaut is currently working on her next directorial Emergency. She also has Chnadramukhi 2 and Tejas as upcoming projects in the pipeline.
