Kangana Ranaut digs into Bollywood stars dancing at weddings and birthdays, ‘I turned down an insane amount of money’

Kangana Ranaut never tires of patting herself on the back for her achievements and the set of principles she lives by. As we all know, several Bollywood stars have danced in weddings and charged huge amount of money for their performances. And it looks like Kangana has once again caught on to Bollywood stars dancing at weddings and birthdays. The actress recently came across a video of veteran singer Asha Bhosle, who was seen sharing an interesting anecdote about her elder sister and late legendary singer Lata Mangeshkar. She had spoken about how Lata didi never participated in weddings. In the video, Asha also revealed that Lata didi was once offered a million dollars to sing at a wedding, but she refused the offer. Sharing the video on her Instagram stories, Kangana went on to draw parallels with Lata Mangeshkar and said that she too has never participated in a wedding and turned down a huge proposal. “I agree. Even I have never danced at weddings or private parties even though I have the most popular songs…I was refused an insane amount of money…I’m glad I came across this video. Lataji is really so inspiring,” she said.

On the work front, Kangana will be seen in another Tamil film after Thalaivii. She will play the lead role of Chandramukhi in Chandramukhi 2 directed by P. Vasu. The film’s prequel, which released in 2005, starred superstar Rajanikanth and Jyothika Saravanan.

She will take a little break from her second directorial Emergency and the second schedule of Chandramukhi 2 will begin in January after Emergency wraps up. She also has Tejas, in which she essays the role of an Indian Air Force pilot, and Noti Binodini in the pipeline.
