“Anyone who has dealt with pregnancy knows that none of this is accidental, none of this is frivolous. And it’s so intimate, and it’s so personal,” he said. “Why do we want our government involved in these decisions?”

Government involvement in reproductive rights is “nasty, it’s evil. It shouldn’t even be a discussion. The government shouldn’t be involved,” Legenda said.
In her interview with Axelrod, Legend highlighted the devastating experiences of late-term abortion patients. “Anyone who makes this agonizing decision at this point in pregnancy is only doing so because they have a good reason to do so, whether it’s the health of the mother or the health of the child,” he said.
The star hopes she can use her platform to advocate for change. “Over time, I figured out how to use my celebrity and how to use the power that I have and the reach that I have and the resources that I have to make real change.”
