Aditya Chopra and Uday Chopra’s mother Pamela Chopra passed away at the age of 74. Late Yash Chopra’s wife Pamela Chopra passed away on April 20, 2023. Many celebrities visited Aditya Chopra, Rani Mukerji and Uday Chopra. Shah Rukh Khan, Amitabh Bachchan, Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Katrina Kaif, Vicky Kaushal, Karan Johar and others were snapped by the inmates as they reached Aditya Chopra’s residence to express their grief. Jaya Bachchan arrived along with her daughter Shweta Bachchan Nanda.
Jaya Bachchan is being trolled for asking the media to keep their distance
Jaya Bachchan and Shweta Bachchan Nanda’s arrival videos have gone viral on social media. In one of the videos, Jaya Bachchan is seen asking the paparazzi to keep their distance. She could be seen wearing a face mask amid rising coronavirus cases and she asked people to click pictures from a distance. However, her act did not go down well with netizens. People have called her arrogant and rude. One even asked, “Why is she angry all the time?”
This is not the first time Jaya Bachchan has made headlines for her behavior with inmates. There have been videos in the past where she was trolled for throwing an “attitude.” Jaya Bachchan had spoken about people clicking her pictures and stated that she despises it when she appeared on Navya Naveli Nanda’s podcast. She said: “I hate it. I despise him. I despise people who pry into your privacy and fill their stomachs by selling these products. I hate it, I am disgusted by such people. I always tell them, I say, ‘Aapko sharam nahi aati hai (Aren’t you ashamed?)’

The news of Pamela Chopra’s death was confirmed by YRF with a social media post stating that her cremation took place at 11 am on April 20.
