And a report in Koreaboo states that this is due to the issues surrounding BTS’s military enlistment case. When BTS announced a hiatus in June, HYBE shares fell a whopping 25%. The stock, which reached ₩294,000 KRW, fell to ₩145,000 KRW. HYBE released a statement saying that BTS is not on a full hiatus, but will focus more on solo content.

Recently, that is, as of September 19, the share price has jumped by 2.27%. The online portal reports that this is due to the online survey conducted recently. It was in regards to Bangtan Boys mandatory recruitment services. The survey was conducted by Realmeter and has more than 1,000 responses. It was held from September 18 to 19, and the majority of those polled were in favor of the possibility of revising the Law on Military Service. It should be noted that months ago there was talk of revising the Military Service Act to help BTS get an exemption.

South Korea’s defense minister is said to have shared at a parliamentary meeting in August that the ministry will plan its next course of action for BTS’s military enlistment based on the results of the survey. After that, HYBE stock prices rose by 6.76%. However, after the minister revised his statement, the stock fell again by 8.26%. Recently, when the results were announced with more than 50% of respondents supporting BTS to join the army, HYBE stock fell another 4.18%.
