The stars of Broadway joined forces for a night of philanthropy, celebration and fun music!
Emmy Award-winning TV host John Oliver hosted the fun and annual Only Make Believe Gala alongside Broadway stars Andy Carl, Bette Leavell, Bonnie Milligan, Brad Oscar, Catherine Allison, Montego Glover, Orfe, Alika Quarles , Terry Theologides and Collet Reyes to bring awareness and gratitude to the charity.
Actors from the organization have always performed live at children’s hospitals, but due to the pandemic, the annual gala and in-person programming has been on hiatus for two years. Talented performers dedicate their creativity and passion to create fun and interactive, virtual programming for children in hospitals so that the charity’s mission can continue to thrive, even in the most unprecedented of times.
The celebratory evening included performances by talented Tony Award nominees and winners, as well as personal anecdotes from committed organization leaders about how positively Only Make Believe has impacted not only the children in hospitals, but the actors as well. After the shows, VIP guests attended the after-party at John’s of Times Square, just off St. James Theatre, where guests enjoyed champagne and a delicious buffet of Italian classics.
