She wore an exquisite lehenga with a Gazal jacket which has meticulously embroidered to manifest unforgettable opulence. “Each intricate stitch is a labour of love, woven skillfully with artistry passed down through generations. The Gazal jacket, with a touch of gold zardozi work, embraces the grace of the traditional Kashmiri design.” The lehenga, on the other hand, was adorned with geometric and floral motifs which seamlessly created a blend of tradition and modernity.
With the actor’s straight hair cascading beautifully down her back, she accessorised this look with just a maang tikka and added the finishing touches with minimal makeup.
Talking about how she has adored “Ritu Kumar as the OG”, Aditi shared in a statement that the ace designer is a revivalist. “She is passionate about indigenous crafts and textiles. I have literally been in her home throughout my growing years. I really admire everything that she stands for and all the choices that she has made. She is so passionate about what she does and she is surrounded by aesthetics. She lives what she believes in. I think she is really really wonderful and very inspiring,” she said.
She further spoke about the designer’s endearing legacy. “I think somebody like her will always be timeless because somebody who is so authentic and so seeped in Indian tradition – a person like that and what that person stands for will be timeless. Something like that can keep evolving, keep reinventing, and still be strongly always there,” she said.
