It’s only been two days since then Masaba Masaba Season 2 released on Netflix. People can’t stop raving about the show and are enjoying the current season to the fullest. The series marks the third outing of Masaba Gupta, who is a successful fashion designer as well as an actor. She plays herself in this semi-fictional show and has been praised very well for her performance. During an interaction with OTTplay, Masaba was asked about the acting offers coming her way.
She told us: “I really want to play a cop. I haven’t been offered this yet. Or like someone who’s from a small town or something because I feel like people just think of me as a glamorous person. But I think the things that come to me, frankly, are not something I love. It looks a lot like a sidekick to some giant star or whatever.”
Speaking about being a successful entrepreneur and how it gets her the best acting job, Masaba said, “You see, the thing is, I’m a very busy person, thank God in my business life. So I don’t think about that a lot and I think that’s why I probably got the best job. When Modern Love came to me, I thought, will there be anyone who likes this and will people enjoy the story? But apparently they did. So take a chance, and I don’t do this to run my house. Fortunately, I can take a lot more chances, but I certainly hope that much better offers will come along.”
Additional, Masaba Masaba also features Neena Gupta reprising her role as herself in the second season. The sophomore also features Neil Bhupalam, Armaan Khera, Ritasha Rathore, Kusha Kapila, Barha Singh and others in key roles.
Moreover, it also marks the last screen outing of the late, legendary singer Bapi Lahiri.
