I’m a Celebrity airs double elimination

I’m a Celebrity… South Africa spoilers follow.

I’m a Celebrity… South Africa aired a double elimination tonight (May 8), with the cliffhanger from Friday’s (May 5) episode reaching its conclusion.

The ITV show left viewers on tenterhooks last week, with four celebrities – Myleene Klass & Jordan Banjo, Georgia ‘Toff’ Toffolo & Andy Whyment – competing for the prize of treats, with the losing pair being sent packing.

As the trial resumed tonight (May 8), with the Yellow team triumphing once more, it meant that both Toff and Andy would be leaving the camp.

As the pair departed, Toff said she “would have loved to win”, whilst Andy seemed glad to head home after being on rice and beans throughout his time in the South African jungle.

When the action returned to the camp, the Greens were understandably disconsolate at another defeat, with Janice Dickinson and Joe Swash letting their tensions get the better of them as they argued about the morale in the team.

As the Yellows returned from their fine dining, Joe announced that the Battle of the Prides was over, with the camp being united as one team the following morning.

With the rivalry now behind them, Phil decided to “unburden” himself by informing the Greens of what they really had on the picnics, with Paul being devastated to hear that they hadn’t been having cucumber sandwiches.

I’m a Celebrity… South Africa airs on Mondays-Fridays at 9pm on ITV1 and streams on ITVX.
