Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt tied the knot on April 14 after dating for almost five years. During their recent interview with Navbharat Times, both Ranbir and Alia were asked if they depend on each other in real life as well. To which Ranbir admitted that he is very dependent on Alia as he always wants her by his side, which is in stark contrast to him boasting that he is very independent and single. “I brag a lot about being very independent and single, but in reality I’m very dependent on her. I don’t go to the toilet or eat if I don’t know where Alia is. It is very important for me to have her by my side. It doesn’t matter if we don’t do anything romantic or even talk, but she should just sit by my side,” said Ranbir. A few months ago, when Alia returned to Mumbai after completing her work in the Hollywood film Heart of Stone, where she shared the screen with Wonder Woman star Gal Gadot, Ranbir had come to meet his wife at the Mumbai airport.

After leaving the airport, Alia rushed to her husband who was waiting for her in a car. She crashed into his arms, screaming “baby” in excitement. Several fans expressed their feelings about the two reuniting after two months as both the actors were busy with their respective projects right after their wedding.

Meanwhile, Ranbir and Alia are currently basking in the glory of their recently released film Brahmastra, which managed to cross the Rs 200 crore mark worldwide. The film features the couple alongside Amitabh Bachchan, Mouni Roy and Telugu superstar Nagarjuna. Shah Rukh Khan is also seen in a special cameo as Mohan Bhargava, who has a relationship with Swades.
