Hrithik Roshan and Saif Ali Khan lead Vikram Vedha is currently in theaters and has received a great response from the audience. Both Hrithik and Saif have been praised for their performances as Veda and Vikram in this Hindi remake Rifleman and Gayatri directorial. Vikram Vedha is a remake of R Madhavan and Vijay Sethupathi eponymous film starring. And as Hrithik Roshan moves on to his new project, he has signed on as Veda. The actor wrote a heartfelt note, thanked the director duo and even shared what he learned from Veda. Hrithik took to his Instagram handle and shared a cute video of him cutting the black thread he had tied on his hand. The actor to release Veda had to cut the black thread. He revealed that he does this whenever he feels intimidated by a character he’s about to portray. In his post, Hrithik Roshan shared that he wore a red Mauli while playing Kabir in War. He shared that sometimes it is also a black thread. Hrithik tried to remember when he started doing this gesture, but shared that Veda started wearing it during rehearsals itself. Explaining why he started this tradition with each character and film, Hrithik revealed that it helps him honor and cement the commitment he made with himself as a secret pact. Hrithik shared that for Vedha, he tried to break the band several times. First when the shooting was over, then when the dubbing was over, but he just couldn’t. He was finally able to let it go when he could answer the questions he had in his mind. Describing his journey as a Veda, Hrithik revealed that he learned to be at peace with his flaws through it, being fearless and unforgiving. He thanked the directors and writers for the role and the film and released them “with love and gratitude”. Meanwhile, at the box office, Vikram Veda is minting money and doing decent business. Talking about business, Vikram Vedha opened at the box office with a nett of Rs 10.45 crore. It earned Rs 13.10 crore on Day 2 and on Day 3, Sunday, the film did a business of Rs 15.72 crore. The total weekend box office collection of Vikram Vedha stands at Rs 39.27 crore.
