Entertainment News: Deputy Minister Threatens Adipurush Manufacturers

As reported by the media, Narottam Mishra, who was a member of the Madhya Pradesh government as a minister, called up the makers of Adipurush. Hindustan Times quoted a news agency quoting the minister as saying that there are objectionable scenes in the trailer of Adipurush. He criticized the dress and look of Hindu deities and found them unacceptable. The minister said that the scriptures say that Lord Hanuman wore a different outfit, while the Adipurusha teaser depicts Lord Hanuman dressed in leather. The report further states that the minister has warned Om Raut to remove all such scenes. And it also claims it will take legal action if the scenes are not removed from the film. Earlier, BJP spokesperson Malavika Avinash criticized Saif Ali Khan’s look as Ravana and mocked Om Raut, saying that he should have done some research or watched other interpretations of the great Ramayana which showed the true look of Ravana. Adipurush: Is Prabhas mad at Om Raut?

A few hours ago, the video of Prabhas from the launch of Adipurush in Ayodhya surfaced. In the video, fans noted how Prabhas was very angry and called Om Raut to his room. The video went viral. The response the project received was overwhelming. Adipurush ban and Adipurush boycott were trending on Twitter as well. Adipurush is scheduled to release on January 12, 2022.
