The year 2023 has started and there have been many popular Hindi TV shows that have been entertaining the audience for years. The audience of these shows have been addicted for years to these serials as the creators try to change the characters or make leaps so that the interest level of their audience does not fade away. We’ve compiled a list of shows that will be growing in the coming months.
Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai
The show launched on 12 January 2009 and had Hina Khan, Karan Mehra, Shivangi Joshi and Mohsin Khan in pivotal roles. In October 2021, the creators introduced a new cast. Next we saw Pranali Rathod and Harshad Chopda playing the third generation characters. Unfortunately, Shivangi Joshi and Mohsin left the show. Now the story of Abhimanyu and Akshara will take a leap of five years. There will reportedly be a new format in 2023.
Ye Hai Chahatain
The show which started on 19 December 2019 had Sargun Kaur Luthra and Abrar Qazi in pivotal roles. Sargun essays the role of a gynecologist named Dr. Presha, Abrar is a famous rock star named Rudraksh Khurana. The plot revolves around their romance, love and breakup. The show will reportedly take a 20-year leap and Sargun-Abrar will be seen in never-before-seen avatars. Now you will get to see the love story of Samrat and Nayanthara who are a rock star and a physical therapist respectively.
Kumkum Bhagya
Ektaa Kapoor’s Kumkum Bhagya rose to fame since its inception on 15 April 2014. The concept of the show was based on Jane Austen’s novel Sense and Sensibility and starred Sriti Jha and Shabbir Ahluwalia in lead roles from 2014 to 2021. To now the story is based on the next generation with Mugdha Chaphekar and Krishna Kaul playing important roles. The director of the show, Shahnawaz Khan, in an interview revealed that the new storyline of Kumkum Bhagya will see a lot of twists and turns. Read also
Bade Achhe Lagte Hain 2
In the second season, Disha Parmar and Nakuul Mehta played the role of Ram and Priya in the show. The show will take a 20-year leap and new characters and plot will be introduced. Both Disha and Nakuul confirmed that they will be leaving the show after the jump. Disha was apprehensive about playing the role of a mother of a 5-year-old child, but as the song was interesting, she did the same. The actress revealed to ETimes that she has given her all and after a year and a half it is time to see new projects. Pandya Shop
The serial has a star cast of Kinshuk Mahajan, Shiny Doshi, Kanwar Dhillon, Akshay Kharodia to name a few. The family is currently struggling with Shweta’s misbehaviour. She is trying to take revenge on Pandya and so she uses Chiku. Pandya gets custody of Chiku. It is reported that there will be a jump in the show but there is no confirmation from the makers.
