Here’s where to watch Prince Harry’s long-awaited interview with Tom Bradby in SA

M-Net announced on Friday that it has secured the rights to broadcast Harry’s much-anticipated ITV News interview with Tom Bradby.

The interview will be broadcast in South Africa on M-Net (DStv 101) on Monday 9 January at 19:00.

According to the statement, the 90-minute interview was filmed in California, where Harry and his family now live. “The Prince goes into unprecedented depth and detail about life inside and outside the Royal Family. Speaking to Bradby, who he has known for over 20 years, he will share his personal story in his own words,” said M-Net.

The British TV interview as well as the American interview with Anderson Cooper on 60 minutesis part of the press coverage leading up to the release of Harry’s new memoir, Spare.

Excerpts from the book have already hit the headlines as Harry reveals everything from how he lost his virginity to how many people he killed in Afghanistan.

“This will be a historic show. Keeping up with global trends and conversations is built into the fabric of MultiChoice and we are proud to always bring our subscribers monumental shows – like this – as they happen,” Nomsa Filiso, Chief Executive Officer of General Entertainment at MultiChoice Group, it said in a statement.

Channel Director for M-Net Channels, Jan du Plessis, added: “This is a colossal media event that will have a lot of people talking about it. We’re delighted that our viewers will be among the first in the world to see it, and we look forward to the conversations they’ll have around it.”

In Harry: The Interviewthe Duke will speak in depth on a range of topics, including his personal relationships, previously unheard details surrounding the death of his beloved mother Diana and a look at his future.
