Fashion model Gigi Hadid has hit out at rapper Kanye West for his comments towards fashion editor Gabriella Karefa-Johnson.
Kanye has been making many headlines this week, following his fashion show that took place in Paris as part of the Fashion Week.
He made headlines, given that much of his clothing featured the phrase ‘White Lives Matter’ and he had a number of black models wearing the clothes, including the granddaughter of Bob Marley.
That has led to criticism from all corners and Karefa Johnson was one of those people who spoke out on her Instagram story.
West immediately started firing back at Karefa-Johnson, posting derisive comments about the editor.
In posts that have since been deleted from his account, West shared pictures of Karefa-Johnson, including one where he claimed Vogue editor-in-chief Anna Wintour would hate her boots.

Unusually, West then shared a screenshot of a message from someone urging him not to “insult that writer” but he did not include any caption.
That led to Hadid sharing her thoughts as she is close with Karefa-Johnson whom she’s worked with in the past, including on Hadid‘s March 2021 Vogue cover.
“You wish you had a percentage of her intellect, you have no idea,” Hadid wrote.
“If there’s actually a point to any of your s**t she might be the only person that could save you.
“As if the ‘honor’ of being invited to your show should keep someone from giving their opinion. You’re a bully and a joke.”
She further added in her Instagram Story that Karefa-Johnson is “one of the most important voices” in the fashion industry and could “school that disgraceful man”.
Kanye has moved away from the mainstream of black politics in recent years, hence stunts like the ‘White Lives Matter’ clothing.
