Bigg Boss 16 saw the elimination of Gautam Vig. The Naamkarann actor was eliminated in the seventh week of Salman Khan’s show. He told us that he was terribly shocked by this eviction. Gautham Vig tells us that he finds it hard to believe that he got fewer votes and has full faith in his fan clubs and fan bases. He told BollywoodLife, “I don’t think I have less votes. It’s very unfortunate.” On the show, Gautham Vig made news for his relationship with Soundarya Sharma. The model-actress and he developed a close relationship that came under increased scrutiny.

Gautam Vig tells us, “She stood by me throughout the show. I don’t think our relationship made my game weak. The only problem was the emotional conflict. There were times when Soundarya Sharma felt very hurt. She used to tell me not to talk to those who were talking bad about our relationship. Soundarya Sharma was protecting me. She has also become a bit weak emotionally, mainly because she has never been on such a platform before.” Gautam Vig said that their relationship was wonderful and they had a good time together on Bigg Boss 16.

In the show, Shalin Bhanot calls Gautam Vig Janani and Auraat many times. An angry Gautam Vig tells us, “He is very weak inside. He is completely fake. There is no manly quality in him.” Gautam Vig criticizes his cheap thinking. “The way he mocks people, calling them Janani and Auraat, implying that they are weak as women, reflects his cheap thinking. That’s what came to the fore,” he says.

We also asked him about the whole situation where Sumbul Touqeer is being criticized for her possessive attitude towards Shalin Bhanot. Salman Khan drove her a lot. Gautam Vig tells us, “I feel there is a mistake on both sides. If you see that your friend is too possessive, aapko brake lagana chahiye. Come on, you’re 20 years older than her. You need to understand that her image is taking a hit. You have to respect a girl if you consider her your friend. Her respect and integrity should be your priority.”
