As Gauri Khan appeared on Koffee With Karan 7, host Karan Johar took the opportunity to ask Gauri about the scandalous trial and the darkest phase of her and Shah Rukh Khan’s life. Karan praised Gauri for being so strong and the whole family for coming out stronger from the ordeal. Gauri addressed Aryan Khan’s arrest and said, “Nothing can be worse than what we just went through.” However, Gauri adds that they have stood by each other as a family and are in a great space right now. She talked about all the love she received from everyone – friends, colleagues and everyone. Gauri said that everyone is grateful to everyone who helped them out of the tough times. Aryan Khan’s arrest in a drug bust on a cruise ship

On October 2, Shahrukh Khan and Gauri Khan’s son, Aryan Khan, were arrested in the late night of October 2 along with their friends Arbaaz Merchant and Moonmoon Damecha in a drug bust on a cruise ship from Mumbai to Goa. He was in NCB custody and later shifted to jail. After fighting the case with a battalion of lawyers, Aryan was finally granted bail after about a month. Satish Maneshinde, Amit Desai and Mukul Rohatgi along with others helped the Pathaan actor fight his son’s case.
