AN EXCITING festive fashion event is coming to the streets of Limerick.

Festive Fashion on the Streets, presented by the Holman Lee Agency, will showcase the latest trends from Limerick’s top fashion houses and designers as part of the Christmas in Limerick festivities.

The event, in association with Limerick City and County Council, promises to be a fabulous occasion with all the top male and female boutiques, accessories and plenty of spot prizes on the day to add to the magical Christmas spirit.

The fashion show will be held at the Thomas St and Catherine St Junction in Limerick city on Saturday, December 10 at 12pm.

Limerick fashion icon Celia Holman Lee will be hosting the event which will see the area transformed into a runway.

Celia told the Limerick Leader that the event is a great opportunity to showcase Limerick shops and boutiques.

“It all started just after we came out of the pandemic. People were going out and about more but we still had to wear masks.

“So we decided to take to the streets and host an outdoor fashion show and it was a great success. It was the first outdoor fashion show in the country after the pandemic.

“People loved it. Now there is so much emphasis on getting people to come to the city so this is part of that”.

Celia told the Limerick Leader that there is a ready made audience for these types of events.

“There are always people sitting around drinking coffee outside, even if it is a bad day, especially on Catherine Street.

“It is a great ready made audience for the boutiques and shops.”

Holman Lee Agency models Sophia Nied, Orla Shiel and Laura Guilfoyle were on hand recently to launch the event with a stylish walk in Limerick city.
