However, wearing white at a wedding could seem impossible until you see Bollywood’s most fashionable women wearing their favourite white sarees. Bollywood celebrities have demonstrated that when it comes to striking saree styles, white can be both elegant and powerful. Celebrities are turning to time-tested looks and reliable designers lately. They are making the most of the current fashions when it comes to dressing up, using anything from sarees to lehengas and everything in between. As a result, we witness fashion face-off’s more frequently than before. We’re back today with another saree-related face-off, and this time it’s between Kiara Advani and Janhvi Kapoor, who are both wearing white sarees but styled them quite differently.
Fashion face off: Janhvi Kapoor or Kiara Advani, who styled white saree with tube blouse better?
First up is Janhvi Kapoor, who was present at promotions of Mili wearing a white embroidered saree by Antithesis. Janhvi was dressed in a white silk saree with subtle silver resham embroidery motifs. A thin zari border in white and silver was also present on the saree. Janhvi paired her saree with a silver off-shoulder blouse with corset detailing and a plunging neckline. Janhvi kept her accessories to a pair of gorgeous silver danglers and a ring for the day. As she posed for the photos, Janhvi wore her hair open in wavy curls with a side part. Janhvi was dressed in a nude lip colour, nude eyeshadow, black winged eyeliner, black kohl, mascara-coated eyelashes, and contoured cheekbones.
Kiara Advani chose for the similar nine-yard from the shelves of Amrita Thakur and draped it in a similar manner for JugJugg Jeeyo promotions. The monochrome saree had horizontal striped beading and glitter embellishments at the edges. The actress gave the saree a contemporary spin by pairing it with a beautiful tube blouse with a sweetheart neckline. Kiara accessorised her desi appearance with conventional jhumkas. Kiara’s makeup was dewy with delicate eye makeup and luscious lips, leaving her mane free in beachy waves.
