The family posed for an exclusive photoshoot where the first picture features the five members striking a pose and sporting black-and-white colour-coordinated outfits. While the second photo is more intimate, as all of them look relaxed and grinning smiling ear-to-ear. Fans couldn’t help but notice how Gauri lovingly was holding onto Shah Rukh’s arm. The book, published by Penguin India, was released on April 17. The coffee table book features a foreword by SRK.

Moving on. Shah Rukh Khan had once said on the chat show Koffee with Karan that comedian and actor Johnny Lever is one of his favourite co-stars to work with. The pair have worked in a bunch of movies together, including Kuch Kuch Hota Hai, Dilwale, Karan Arjun, and Phir Bhi Dil Hai Hindustani among others. Recently, a clip has resurfaced on the internet where SRK is seen heaping praise on Lever during a media interaction. SRK shared – “I love everything he says. He is funny and sweet. He has the most wonderful, insightful things to say about religion and philosophy. That is why I am his fan.”

Actor Saif Ali Khan on Tuesday, 18th April, officially joined the team of NTR 30 and began filming alongside actor NTR Jr. Billed as a ‘high voltage action drama’, NTR 30 marks the first collaboration between Saif and the RRR star. According to the makers, the Telugu film, directed by Koratala Siva, will see Saif in a “pivotal role.” The makers took to Twitter and welcomed Saif on board the project. The film will also mark actor Janhvi Kapoor’s debut in the Telugu industry. Last month, on her birthday, the actor announced the film, writing, “It is finally happening!” Saif, meanwhile, will be next seen in the mythological epic, Prabhas-starrer, Adipurush as Ravana.

Acclaimed filmmaker Kanu Behl is returning to the Directors’ Fortnight section of the 2023 Cannes Film Festival, this time with his upcoming Hindi feature film Agra. Produced by Saregama India Ltd, UFO Production, and O28 Films, the movie will have its world premiere at Directors’ Fortnight, an independent section of the prestigious film gala. Written by Behl and Atika Chohan, ‘Agra’ is an exploration of sexual dynamics within a family and the deep dystopian fractures created in modern India, fast shrinking into pigeon-holed spaces. The feature film, an Indo-France co-production, is fronted by debutant Mohit Agarwal, Aashiqui star Rahul Roy, Lion actor Priyanka Bose, Ruhani Sharma, along with Vibha Chibber and Aanchal Goswami in pivotal roles.

Meanwhile, Debutant Palak Tiwari owes her life to TV. Daughter of actor Shweta Tiwari, one of the most popular faces on TV, Palak says the medium has given her family everything. Palak is gearing up to make her big screen debut in Salman Khan’s action-comedy Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan. In an interview with ETimes, Palak also shared the reason why she didn’t explore TV was that her mother did “everything that had to be done” and even if she had gone ahead, there would have been “inevitable comparisons” with her. She said – “So, I thought I might as well do something new and excel in it.”

Sonam Kapoor welcomed her first baby Vayu in 2022 and in a recent chat, Sonam opened up about her body after her pregnancy.
Talking to Grazia, Sonam said – “You look at yourself in all these videos which are super unflattering and taken on the phone, and you wonder to yourself – ‘am I really looking like that?’ I’m not scared of anything in that sense, of ageing or anything else – but I just don’t feel like myself.” Sonam also shared that if she is shooting, she likes to send her measurements in advance because she doesn’t want her self-confidence to take a hit. Sonam will make a comeback to films with her upcoming film, Blind.

Meanwhile, veteran star Shabana Azmi took to her social media to share a throwback photo from her 1977 film Parvarish with Neetu Kapoor. The film had the two actors playing pickpockets who fall in love with Amitabh Bachchan and Vinod Khanna’s characters. Shabana shared the photo with the caption, “Neetu sent this to me – a still from Manmohan Desai’s Parvarish – a film we both had a blast doing.”
Zoya Akhtar posted a smile emoji in the comments section of the post and Sandhya Mridul wrote that Parvarish was the film that “confirmed” that she wanted to be an actor.
