Tara Sutaria made her debut in the Bollywood industry with Student of Year 2. Although it wasn’t too long ago, the actress has taken some steps forward and has come a long way as a film student. In her latest film, Ek Villain Returns, she played Aaravi Malhotra, a famous singer. Sutaria took on the dual role of furthering her acting career while also making her singing debut. Meanwhile, in her personal life, she has been dating Aadar Jain for quite some time. Both never shy away from showing their love for each other. In a Filmfare cover interview, the actress opened up about her relationship with Aadar Jain.
When asked about her dating life and how close the two are with their families, Tara Sutaria said, “Besides having a wonderful job and a great family and all that, which is the one thing that all human beings, no matter where we are, comes from, want? Love. We want to be loved and to give love, so it would be absurd to pretend that we don’t love someone or that we don’t have emotions that go in that direction. I’m very attached to people, and I think we’re both similar in that way. We become attached to that special person and the people close to him/her. It helps to understand who he or she is and who they are.”
She added: “A lot of people in his family remind me of people in my family. The warmth, love and generosity that you will find in most Parsi households, you will also find in Punjabi households. It was beautiful. Respect them and love them deeply, because it is important to me that if you love, you must love deeply.”
Describing the last time Aadar Jain surprised her, she revealed, “When you meet someone for the first time, it’s full of surprises and bigger things, but with time you realize the importance of the smaller things. It could be something as small as him making a cup of tea for me in the morning instead of someone else making it. It could also be a handwritten note. These things also mean a lot to him and are our special moments.
Tara doesn’t have a set mantra for heartbreak and relationships. “I really wish I had a mantra. I don’t get over things easily. I am an emotional person. I take people and commitments seriously. And when they let me down, it’s not easy for me to understand why it happened. So that can be upsetting. But life has been great and I’m learning a lot,” she said.
