Exclusive! No Gay Angle To Akshay Kumar’s OMG 2, Bollywood News

Post the Adipurush fiasco, the Central Board Of Film Certification has been instructed to exercise extreme caution over any film with religious content, as it doesn’t take long for religion to turn into politics in our country. OMG 2 comes righter after Adipurish and the CBFC has been asked to scrutinize the content minutely.

Brainwaves can be very dangerous. Some smart alec decided to write out the plot of OMG 2 on his laptop earlier this week, creating an extremely awkward situation for the film’s beleaguered producers.
“Post the Adipurush fiasco, the Central Board Of Film Certification has been instructed to exercise extreme caution over any film with religious content, as it doesn’t take long for religion to turn into politics in our country. OMG 2 comes righter after Adipurish and the CBFC has been asked to scrutinize the content minutely,” informs a source close to the development.
Apparently, a panel of experts has been set up to ensure that no harmful references or visuals are allowed to slip by in the content. In the midst of these near-paranoid considerations, comes this absolutely baseless fantasy plot of OMG 2 whereby Pankaj Tripathi is a college lecturer who campaigns for sex education after a gay student commits suicide.

A source close to the film dismisses this as ‘complete bunk’. They further said, “There is no gay angle to the OMG 2 plot. Are they mad to mix religion with sexual orientation? Two sensitive subjects in one film? Seriously?”
