While Brahmastra has posted Rs 222 crore gross worldwide from 8,900 screens (5,100 in India and 3,800 overseas), KGF 2 grossed ₹193 crore worldwide, showing how well Brahmastra Part One Shiva started given the kind of juggernaut that KGF 2 turned out to be Ranking. However, both films grossed significantly less than RRR, which made its way to a whopping ₹500 crore gross worldwide in the opening weekend itself. You will have to work hard for anything Indian movie this year to take away the record from RRR for the highest opening weekend of 2022.

The best part about cash collection of Brahmastra, directed by Ayan Mukerji, produced by Karan Johar and starring Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Mouni Roy, Nagarjuna and Amitabh Bachchan, with Shah Rukh Khan in an extended guest appearance, is that it has performed extremely well across India, including Mumbai , Delhi NCR, Pune, Hyderabad and Bangalore while interiors like UP, Bihar, Gujarat and CI are also bringing brilliant numbers and even smaller southern markets like Nizam and Mysore are also posting really good numbers.
