Deepika Padukone becomes global brand ambassador of Qatar Airways : Bollywood News

Actress-turned-entrepreneur Deepika Padukone has acted in only one international project. However, she enjoys a massive fan following across the globe. With her hard work and good performances in films, the actress has made a name for herself. After being the face of some of the prominent global brands, Deepika Padukone has added one more renowned brand in her bag, which is Qatar Airways.

Yes! Making the official announcement of the same, DP, on Tuesday, took to her verified social media handle and shared a video. She tagged the Instagram handle of the airways. In the one-minute-long video, Deepika can be seen enjoying the hospitality and amenities of the airways. Instagramming the video post, Padukone wrote a caption, which read, “Thrilled to be announced global brand ambassador for @qatarairways !Because there’s nothing else quite like it.”

 

As soon as the Cocktail actress shared the news on social media, her fans and followers flooded the comments section with good wishes. “Global brand ambassador goes so well with your name,” wrote a fan club, while a user commented, “Fantastic news! You are going places, Deepika! Making us proud.” A third user exclaimed, “One more feather added to your crown.”

 

 

 

 

Coming to the professional front, the 37-year-old actress’ last release was Pathaan. Released on January 25, the Shah Rukh Khan starrer continues to roar at the box office. Besides, SRK and DP, the Siddharth Anand directorial also featured John Abraham as the antagonist while Dimple Kapadia and Ashutosh Rana were seen playing pivotal roles.

 

Padukone has a bunch of projects in her kitty, including Fighter opposite Hrithik Roshan and Project K, which will be her first collaboration with South star Prabhas. The upcoming Nag Ashwin directorial will also star Amitabh Bachchan and is slated to release next year in January.
