The movie also features renowned actor Pierce Brosnan as Doctor Fate, and Aldis Hodge as Hawkman.

The movie was to be released in 2021 but got delayed due to the COVID pandemic. Being the first superhero movie by Johnson, it was one of the highly anticipated movies of the year.

However, the movie has gotten mixed reviews so far.

The film has an average score of 62.5 on Rotten Tomatoes. Black Adam opened with a score of 55.

One person wrote on Twitter that “the movie was a bad experience.” Another person gave the film 6.5 on a scale of one to ten.

“Black Adam origin story was a bit confusing, but it turned out okay. Not a fan of this advanced Hawkman and they didn’t say anything about who he is or where he came from that was a down for me. But the other 3 characters epically Doctor Fate,” another person wrote on Twitter.

Some other fans rated it very highly, though.
