Ranveer Singh has a The Dark Knight-inspired gym vanity

Despite his eccentricities and larger-than-life persona, Bollywood actor Ranveer Singh is one personality who is extremely dedicated to his art. The actor is like a chameleon who changes his physique as much as his psyche for any new role that he takes up.

While he may have essayed a goofball with his heart in the right place in his latest flick Jayeshbhai Jordaar, the same actor had sported a completely different look when he essayed Peshwa Bajirao Ballal in Bajirao Mastani, or when he played Allaudin Khilji in Padmaavat or the cop Simmba in Rohit Shetty’s film. These transformations were not restricted to his looks alone, but were apparent in his body as well.

Ranveer’s chiseled body and ripped biceps are a result of hours of grueling workout ritual at the gym. Now, for one of the busier actors out there, it is not possible to hit the gym at all times, and so, recently, Ranveer made a huge investment when he got himself a mobile gym that moves with the actor wherever he goes. One of the first in Bollywood, the gym vanity is designed by celebrity interior designer Rupin Suchak and finds inspiration in DC Comic’s Bruce Wayne aka Batman’s Cave. In fact, the Dark Knight inspired mobile gym is worth Rs 80 lakh!

In an interaction with GQ India, Ranveer had in fact revealed that it was designer Rupin who wanted to have the Batman/ Bruce Wayne cave theme, believing it was masculine and still aligned with the brief the actor had given him. The actor added that he prefers minimalism when it comes to his spaces and that was his one-point brief to Rupin. Check out the images of the minimalist mobile Batman inspired gym.

Runak further explained that one of the main focus was Christopher Nolan’s 2008 epic movie The Dark Knight and that they consciously tried to achieve a continuous ceiling of light and mirrored black wall to give the impression of infinity.

As per reports, the gym on wheels has a personal training station towards the driver’s station and it also has an elaborate seated leg curl/ extension combo gear as well. The gym also boasts of an extensive range of twin-tier dumbbell racks.

Ranveer on his part called the van one of his ‘prized possessions’ adding that he uses it every single day and recently got steam installed in it as well. The actor revealed when he saw the final result of his vanity gym, he was “absolutely stunned” and “completely floored.”
