It may be recalled that the volunteers of Youth for Parivarthan had earlier spent seven hours beautifying the wall on the occasion of Gandhi Jayanthi three weeks ago. They extended an invitation to Vasishta to take part in beautifying the wall. As per the schedule, the volunteers assembled on the spot on Sunday morning.

“I visited the spot to paint the wall because I consider it a responsibility to encourage and support those doing good to society. I want my fans to organise functions or indulge in social work without causing inconvenience to people working to make Bengaluru beautiful,’’ said Vasishta.

“I want to thank Vasishta for joining hands with the volunteers to remove the posters and repaint the wall. If the political leaders follow Vasishta or direct their followers to remove the posters pasted by them, Bengaluru will be free from wall poster menace,’’ said
