From Pavithra Janani of “Eeramana Rojave” fame to Priya Bhavani Shankar of Kollywood film industry, almost all the stars who belong to Vijay TV got emotional and were shedding over the demise of director Thai Muthu Selvam who is known for directing some of the notable serials of the widely watched channel.
Videos of actresses Pavithra Janani, Syamantha, Mirchi Senthil crying their heart out are doing rounds in social media platforms. In her tweet, actress Priya Bhavani Shankar who is currently busy acting in Tamil films, said that she feels empty inside and doesn’t know what to say.
Thai Selvam became a filmmaker through a film named “Newton-in Moondram Vi thik” starring SJ Suriya in the lead role. The film got released in the year 2009. Years later, he became the director of Vijay TV serial “Mowna Raahat” which streamed in Vijay TV during 2017. The serial’s success got him to opportunities to direct some other serials in the same channel.

Some of his notable works are “Naam Iruvar Namaku Iruvar” and it’s sequel, “Kaathu Karuppu”, “Kalyanam Muthal Kaadhal Varai”, ” Paavam Games and” and “Eeramana Rojave”. In the film “Aavi Kumar”, Thai Selvam worked as a writer.
During his final days, the filmmaker was busy making “Eeramaana Rojave”. Pavithra Janani who is playing the lead in the serial, was seen shedding tears in the funeral video of the filmmaker. Amit, Anand babu and many other stars of the channel couldn’t bear the paid which is evident through the videos.
