The inauguration of Nita Mukesh Ambani Cultural Centre (NMACC) in Mumbai is a star-studded affair, with the likes of Rajinikanth, Aamir Khan, Priyanka Chopra, Deepika Padukone, Alia Bhatt, Vidya Balan among others in attendance.

The Nita Mukesh Ambani Cultural Centre (NMACC) is all set to open on Friday in Mumbai. The evening will be made special with a musical theatre Civilization to Nation: The Journey of Our Nation. According to a press release, with Civilization to Nation, “acclaimed Indian playwright and director Feroz Abbas Khan will bring together a sensory narrative of Indian culture told through the tenets of the classical Natya Shastra, the ancient Sanskrit treatise on the performing arts. This dramatic showcase boasts over 700 performers and features art forms such as dance, music and puppetry.”

A costume exhibition titled India in Fashion and a group art show called Sangam Confluence will be held on April 1 and 2, respectively.

The inauguration is expected to be attended by many celebrities from the Indian film industry. Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas, who landed in Mumbai on Friday, along with their daughter Malti Marie, have arrived for the grand opening. Hollywood actors Tom Holland, Zendaya, Penelope Cruz, French fashion designer Christian Louboutin and artist Jeff Koons will be among the guests at the event.

Talking about NMACC, Isha Ambani said, “The Nita Mukesh Ambani Cultural Centre is so much more than a space – it is the culmination of my mother Nita Ambani’s passion for arts, culture, and her love for India. She has always dreamt of creating a platform that would be welcoming to audiences, artists, performers, and creatives at large. Her vision for NMACC is to showcase the best of what India has to offer to the world and bring the world to India.”
