It was in December 2021 when bangtan boys – RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, Taehyung and Jungkook joined Instagram, sending ARMYs into a frenzy. In the past nine years since their debut, Bangtan Boys haven’t bothered to debut on Instagram. They are already quite active on Twitter and Weverse. But things changed last year. It’s almost like BTS hinted at their hiatus when they made their Instagram debut a few months ago. In June, on their 9th debut anniversary, BTS announced that they would be taking a break and focusing on solo activities. And now, BTS V Also known as Kim Taehyung hit a new milestone on Instagram.
Kim Taehyung’s big Instagram event
BTS member Kim Taehyung, known as V, has reached a new milestone on Instagram. He reached 50 million followers on Instagram. And he is the first BTS member to reach this milestone on Instagram. BTS V aka Taetae has about 67 posts on his Instagram feed. It’s a mix of photos and videos and all the things he loves and likes. Taehyung doesn’t have a specific theme on his Instagram and is quite spontaneous with his posts. Naturally, Taehyung’s achievement on Instagram will be a top discussion in Hollywood news. Taehyung leads BTS in terms of popularity
The members of BTS – RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V and Jungkook – show off their different personalities with their Instagram posts. They are actually being themselves and that’s a treat for the ARMIES. Speaking of the boy group, Taehyung leads with the most followers on Instagram at the moment. Jungkook has 45.5 million followers followed by Jimin with 42.5 million. RM has 37.2M, Jin has 38.8M and so does J-Hope. While Suga has 37.7 million followers on Instagram.
The meeting of BTS V aka Taehyung with Instagram
Taehyung had his struggle with Instagram. He was known to delete his Instagram stories within minutes of uploading them, even though the story only lasted 24 hours. Taehyung later revealed that he would feel that the post/story wasn’t good enough after a while of uploading them and therefore would remove them. Taehyung also happened to follow Blackpink’s Jennie it seems. He complained that it was difficult for him to get used to the interface of Instagram. Taehyung also tried to do an AMA but gave up after minutes as Instagram kept crashing. In general, he has already become quite natural at this.
