Britney Spears tells her story in her own words.

The pop superstar released a now-deleted bombshell 22-minute YouTube audio clip on Sunday about the “abuse” she experienced as a result of her conservatism, and also shared why she turned down “a lot of money” to do an in-depth interview with Oprah Winfrey.

“I don’t get anything out of sharing all of this,” Spears, 40, said. “I have offers to do interviews with Oprah and so many people [for] lots and lots of money, but it’s crazy. I don’t want any of that. For me, it’s beyond a normal sit-down interview.”

The “Hold Me Closer” singer once again lashed out at her family in the since-deleted audio, explaining that she feels like they’ve abandoned her amid her conservatism.

“They literally killed me. They threw me out,” Spears said. “I felt like my family had thrown me out. Performing in front of thousands of people at night in Vegas, the rush of being a performer, the laughs, the respect… I was a machine. I was a royal machine, hardly even human. It was crazy.”

The Grammy winner also confirmed her previous claim that she was forced into a mental institution in early 2019 because she objected to a dance move during one of her rehearsals.

In the audio, she describes the invasive circumstances at the facility, where she allegedly had to undress in front of others and attend “militant” forms of therapy.

“They put me in a state of ignorance to make me feel like I needed them,” she said, adding that she was allegedly told, “If you don’t do what we say, we’ll show you who’s boss.” “

Spears claims she was forced to tell the public that she sought treatment for her father Jamie Spears’ colon disease, but behind closed doors she “wept” to her father and then-conservative Jamie Spears and her team.

“I was like, ‘Why are you doing this?'” the “Stronger” singer said she told them, adding that Jamie’s last words to her were: “You don’t have to go now, but if you don’t. Don’t go, we we will go to court and you will lose. I have a lot more people on my side than you [do]. You don’t even have a lawyer, so don’t even think about it.

Britney also described the degree of control Jamie and his fellow conservatives had over her, sharing that she was once in a “secret relationship” with an unnamed man.

“I talked to one guy and he just wanted to leave the country with me. We were ready to leave and it was a secret relationship,” she said.

The ‘Crossroads’ star allegedly told her assistant at the time: ‘My biggest fear was, ‘What would my dad do if I did something wrong? What if they find me? What would they do?’ … And she looked at me and said, ‘Are you kidding me, Britney? Your father would never do this to you.

Britney said that despite everything that has happened between her and her father, she is “honestly angrier” at her mother, Lynn Spears, because when reporters call the matriarch, she will allegedly “innocently hide” and will not to talk about his daughter.

“I feel like she could have gotten me a lawyer in literally two seconds,” the “Overprotected” singer said. “My friend helped me get one eventually, but every time I contacted a company, my phone would be tapped and my phone would be taken from me.”

Matthew Rosengart, the former federal prosecutor who helped get Britney released from supervision in November 2021, is actively investigating claims that Jamie and his fellow conservatives spied on the music superstar.

“How the hell did they get away with it?” Britney said in Sunday’s audio clip. “How is there a God? Is there a God? … I share this because I want people to know that I am only human. I feel like a victim after these experiences, and how can I fix this if I don’t talk about it?’

In February, Page Six exclusively reported that Britney was working on a landmark $15 million book deal to share even more details about her story, according to publishing sources.

Representatives for the “Toxic” singer declined to comment at the time.
