Bipasha Basu breaks down as she reveals her 3-month-old daughter Devi underwent open-heart surgery after learning she had 2 holes in her heart

During her live session with Neha Dhupia, the actress broke down and said, “I found out on the third day after giving birth that our baby was born with two holes in the heart. I thought I wouldn’t share this, but I’m sharing it because I feel like there are a lot of moms out there who have helped me on this journey. We were told that we should have a scan every month to see if it is healing on its own. But by the look of the big hole it had, we were told it was doubtful; you will have to undergo surgery. Sharing further details about how she waited three months for the surgery and finally agreed, Bipasha said, “You feel so burdened and conflicted. How can you subject a child to open heart surgery? Something natural will happen and people like us believers try to manifest it with our thoughts that it will start to heal. The first month it didn’t happen and the second month it didn’t happen. And I remember the third month when I went for a scan I did almost all research, met with surgeons, went to hospitals, talked to doctors and somehow I was ready”.
