Bigg Boss 14 fame and Sudhir Sangwan lived in a Gurugram society as husband and wife [Report]

The investigation into Sonali Phogat’s sudden death is getting more intense by the day. After the Goa police registered a case of murder based on the complaint of the victim’s family, Phogat and the accused, her personal assistant Sudhir Sangwan, were reportedly living as husband and wife in a Gurugram society. According to IANS, Sonali is listed as Sudhir’s wife in the rent documents of an apartment in Gurgaon Greens society located in Sector 102 of Gurugram. Before leaving for Goa, Sonali and Sangwan had parked their TATA safari vehicle in the society and took a taxi to the airport. According to sources, Sangwan had taken flat number 901 in Gurgaon Greens on rent around three months ago. A police investigation was also carried out for this. When Sudhir Sangwan took this apartment on rent, he mentioned Phogat as his wife in documents. This flat for rent in Gurgaon Greens was in the name of Krishnakant Tiwari. A member of the Gurgaon Greens society, who requested anonymity, said that though he had never met Sonali in the society, he met Sudhir Sangwan from time to time. Since the two lived as tenants in common, most people didn’t even know about her. It was only after her death that people realized she had lived in society, he said.

Meanwhile, a lawyer close to Sonali Phogat told IANS that Sangwan had recently visited the Hisar tehsil office in connection with Sonali Phogat and her widowed sister’s property-related work.

“Sonali recently went abroad for 15 days and Sudhir looked after her locker where her related documents and house keys were kept properly. We suspect that some economic reason must be the motive behind her sudden death, argued the lawyer. However, a lawyer denied any information about Sudhir Sangwan and Sonali living in the Gurugram society as husband and wife.

Sonali had come to Goa on August 22 and was staying at a hotel in Anjuna. She felt restless on Monday evening and was taken to St. Anthony’s Hospital in Anjuna the next morning where she was declared brought dead. The police continue to investigate the case.
