Today, it was announced that Sidharth Malhotra has joined Rohit Shetty’s cop universe and he will be seen playing the lead role in the filmmaker’s web series Indian Police Force which will be streamed on Amazon Prime Video. Sidharth tweeted, “When #RohitShetty sir says Action, you know he literally means it! Super stoked to enter the cop universe with the action king himself! @RSPicturez @PrimeVideoIN #IndianPoliceForceOnPrime now filming. ” While the makers have not yet announced the release date of the series, here are some cop dramas that you can binge-watch on Netflix, Zee 5, and more platforms. Singham (Netflix)
Rohit Shetty’s first film in his cop universe was Singham. The Ajay Devgn starrer, which marked Kajal Aggarwal’s Bollywood debut, was a perfect masala entertainer and was a super hit at the box office. It is now streaming on Netflix. Mardaani (Amazon Prime Video)
Rani Mukerji starrer Mardaani is one of the best cop dramas we have seen in Bollywood. The actress gave one of her career’s best performances in the film and it was a hit at the box office. You can now watch it on Amazon Prime Video.
