In an interview to TOI, Ayesha Singh stated that she has no problem playing a mother as long as the script calls for it. She was quoted as saying, “This is my first show as a lead actor and I’ve always been open to playing any type of role. I may be young, but if playing a mother is an integral part of the script, then I have no problem. I don’t think the actors are typecast anymore. The current track revolves around surrogacy.
