Avneet Kaur is not replacing Tunisha Sharma in Ali Baba

The Entertainment News section has been full of updates on Tunisha Sharma’s suicide case since the latter passed away due to suicide on December 24, 2022. When the actress passed away, the makers of Ali Baba: Daastan-E-Kabul did not close shop on the show. They have focused on other songs. While Tunisha is no more, Shizan Khan, the male lead of the show, has been in police custody since her death. Tunisha’s mother has sued Shizan for inciting suicide. And hence there were rumors that the makers of Ali Baba: Daastan-E-Kabul roped in other lead actors in place of Tunisha and Shizan. Popular actress Avneet Kaur’s name surfaced online. Avneet Kaur is not sought after for Ali Baba

A report in ETimes states that Avneet Kaur is not part of the show in any capacity. Her mother told the portal that the reports about Avnith replacing Tunisha Sharma are false. The report also claimed that while there is a vacancy for Shehzadi Maryam, the makers are not replacing Tunisha Sharma in the show. Rumor has it that they will instead bring in a new female lead in Ali Baba: Daastan-E-Kabul. When asked if Avneet is playing another role in the serial, her mother denied. There were rumors that with Avneet, Abhishek Nigam would replace Sheezan Khan as Ali Baba. However, these are just rumors for now.
