After announcing his debut as a screenwriter in a web series produced by Red Chillies Entertainment, Shah Rukh Khan’s elder son Aryan Khan has also jumped into his new business venture. The 25-year-old has now revealed what he shares in common with his superstar father Shah Rukh Khan, entrepreneur mother Gauri Khan and budding actress Suhana Khan.
Ariane said his family members believe in what interests you and what makes their work more fun and enjoyable, which ultimately helps their areas of interest flourish over time. He also talked about how he and his father entered a global sports franchise about 10 years ago.
“What family has in common is that they believe in what you’re passionate about. My mother is a producer but loves interior design. She has made a successful business out of it because she loves doing it. My father is an actor, but he also has a VFX studio, a production company, and because we loved the sport, we got into it about 10 years ago. Now there’s a global sports franchise that’s expanding and doing really well,” Aryan told Vogue in the interview.
When Aryan was asked how he managed to balance his time between writing a script and his business venture, he said that he was completely overwhelmed, but in a good way. Although it takes a lot of time, Aryan is having a lot of fun and enjoying the process. He said he only sleeps about 4-5 hours a day.
D’yavol is a multi-vertical brand that will initially venture into beverages and apparel. Aryan said he started working on the idea about 5 years ago when he studied abroad and worked with European partners Bunty Singh and Blagoeva, whom he met through his father Shah Rukh Khan while the latter was shooting Dilwale in Bulgaria between 2014-2015. They meet Aryan during their visit to India and immediately hit it off.
