Sometimes, people sure do take things far without realising how it could affect the other person. Sadly, this time around, it is a video of Indian cricketer Virat Kohli’s hotel room making rounds on the internet without him being aware of any such thing happening. This, seems to be an attempt at giving others a preview of what his room looks like. However, this has left him as well as Anushka Sharma absolutely angry.
Virat took to social media and penned a note along with the same as he wrote, “If I cannot have privacy in my own hotel room, then where can I really expect any personal space at all?? I’m NOT okay with this kind of fanaticism and absolute invasion of privacy. Please respect people’s privacy and not treat them as a commodity for entertainment.”
Meanwhile, Anushka took to social media and penned an angry note as well. She shared Virat’s post and wrote, “Have experienced few incidents where some fans have shown no compassion or grace in the past but this really is the worst thing. An absolute disgrace and violation of a human being and anyone who sees this and thinks celebrity ho! Toh deal karna padega should know that you are also part of the problem. Exercising some self control helps everyone. Also, if this is happening in your bedroom then where is the line?”
Privacy, is truly one thing that needs to be protected at all costs and while one’s life as a celebrity maybe out in the open for public eye, this is not something that anyone should have to deal with, leave alone be paranoid about.
Fans, friends, and others, have also expressed their concern and disappointment over such behaviour.
