Amid Adipurush debacle, Ramayan actor Sunil Lahri talks about Ranbir Kapoor-Alia Bhatt playing Ram and Sita in Nitesh Tiwari’s film

Adipurush Starring Prabhas, Kriti Sanon and Saif Ali Khan gets a lot of criticism online. Sunil Lahri opens up for Adipurush, Ranbir Kapoor-Alia Bhatt in Ramayan

Well, in a recent interview, OG Ramayan cast member Sunil Lahri spoke about Adipurush, Ramayan’s comeback and the film starring Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt. It is said that Nitesh Tiwari will make the greatest movie based on Ramayan. A spectacular cast, incredible VFX team and huge sets will be created for the magnum opus. Sunil said that both are very good actors and will do justice to the subject. Lahri says that Ranbir is a good choice for the role of Lord Ram and can give a good performance. He also praises Alia Bhatt, but adds that she would have done a great job if she had played the role of Sait five years ago. Sunil Lahri clarified that this is his personal opinion, but feels that Alia has changed in the past few years. Sunil Lahri on his thoughts on Laxman’s portrayal in Adipurush

Sunny Singh of Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety fame played the role of Lakshman in Adipurush. When asked about his reaction to the same, he said that the characters are not very well defined. He also talked about the facial expressions of Ram and Lakshman played by Prabhas and Sunny. He said that both of them (Ram and Lakshman) had very different characters but in Adipurush both of them seem to have the same expressions. Sunil adds that almost every character seems undefined.

Ramayan will be aired on Shemaroo TV from July 3 at 7:30 PM.
