Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor are in a happy space. The Brahmastra couple tied the knot in April last year. In November, they welcomed their baby girl, Raha Kapoor. Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor are over the moon and enjoying the parenthood phase. The couple has decided to keep their princess away from the public eye. It was a decision that was consciously taken right after Raha’s birth as they requested the media not to click her pictures. Now, Alia Bhatt talks at length about motherhood, Raha and more.
Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor do not want Raha Kapoor to be in the public eye
In an interview with Vogue India, Alia Bhatt talks about protecting Raha Kapoor’s privacy. She said that Ranbir Kapoor and she are very clear about how long they don’t want Raha to be in the public eye. She is not comfortable with discussions and conversations surrounding her baby right now. She said she feels happy to be called Raha’s mom all the time, but that’s about it. She doesn’t want any more discussions about her little baby. Alia Bhatt mentioned that she is very protective of the people she loves and doesn’t think the baby should be a “public figure”. She also said: “We will take each day as it comes. We also need to be practical as individuals in the public eye. And it’s not like we’re saying that no one can ever see her. That’s just for now. And people have mostly respect that.”
In the same interview, Alia Bhatt talked about Ranbir Kapoor being practically a father. The actress mentioned that Ranbir has a unique way of connecting with their daughter as he sits by the window and makes sure Raha is looking at green plants as he considers her to be some kind of ‘earthly’ being. Alia also said that Ranbir is constantly nervous that Raha will forget him as he travels a lot. So she tries to perform the ritual and sits by the window with Raha. Alia Bhatt recently shared a picture of Ranbir and Raha bonding while looking at plants.
Ranbir Kapoor is busy with his upcoming film Animal. Alia Bhatt on the other hand will be seen in Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani opposite Ranveer Singh. She is also expected to debut at the Met Gala this year.
