Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor are expecting their first child together. The couple announced the pregnancy by sharing a picture from the hospital and sent the internet crashing. During this time, Alia was busy filming her Hollywood debut Heart of Stone opposite Gal Gadot in Portugal. Now the actress has revealed how Gal Gadot and her husband Jaron Varsano reacted when she broke the news of her pregnancy.
“When I called Gal and told her I was pregnant and I was coming,” and she said (imitating Gal), “Oh my God, this is going to be amazing.” She had such a wonderful reaction.. Her husband was with her Jaron and he said, “It’s a good omen, it’s a good thing, it means it’s like everything is going to go really well, it’s great for the movie.” They were so wonderful, so supportive,” Alia told Filmfare.
Alia wrapped up the shooting of her Hollywood debut and expressed her gratitude to the team with a heartfelt note. She also shared some photos from the wrap with Gal Gadot and the cast. Alia was seen giving Gal Gadot a big hug with big smiles on their faces in a selfie. She also shared a behind-the-scenes photo of her intense shot while filming.
Meanwhile, Alia is gearing up for the release of her upcoming film Brahmastra with husband Ranbir Kapoor. The film also stars Amitabh Bachchan, Mouni Roy, Nagarjuna and others. Brahmastra is a three-part film franchise and the beginning of India’s first original universe, the Astraverse.
