There were various reports that the film was made on such and such a budget. The noise was that Oh my god 2 has been made on a budget of Rs 150 crores and Akshay Kumar is charging huge fees for the new film. But the producer of Oh my god 2 put an end to all speculation with a surprise statement. Akshay took nothing home.

Speaking to an online entertainment news portal, Ajith Andhare, COO of Viacom18 shared that reports of Oh my god 2 the budget is greatly exaggerated. He reveals that Akshay Kumar did not take a single penny for the film but showed courage by not only acting in the film but supporting it as a producer. “Akshay has not charged a rupee as fee,” Andhare tells Pinkvilla.
The producer says that he has worked with Akshay in a number of films such as OMG, specially the 26th and Toilet: Ek Prem Katha to name a few. Ajith shares that without Akshay Kumar, taking such a big risk would not have been possible. He further adds that Bad Miyan Chote Miyan the actor is invested in the film both creatively and financially.

What is Oh my god 2 film budget?
Well, there were different figures that appeared on different portals. Some said it was made on a budget of Rs 100 crore, others said it was made on Rs 150 crore, etc. But that doesn’t seem to be the case. The report in the media portal quoted a source as saying that the budget of Oh my god 2 it was just under Rs 50 crore. The previous film, Oh my gosh was made on a budget of 25 crore rupees.
