This time we didn’t get Stan Lee, but Across The Spider-Verse still managed to give the fans plenty of iconic cameos.

Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse is chock full of memorable crossovers and cameos that have fed the ego of the fan base.

From the vivid appearances of Andrew Garfield and Tobey Maguire to the almost unnoticeable cameo of J.K. Simmons.

Here is a list of celebrities whose appearance in Spider-Man: Across The Spider-Verse you might have missed..

1. J. Jonah Jameson

J.K. Simmons as Spider-Man’s worst antagonist, J. Jonah Jameson, is back at it again. However, this time he is not on screen, his voice is heard on various television sets in the multiverse, including his Spider-Woman references.

The role once played by J.K. Simmons in the 2002 film remains iconic till these days, proving that you don’t necessarily need to see his character to feel his presence in the film.

2. Mrs. Chen

Seeing a non-animated familiar face in an animated film was a blast from the past. After the fight with Miles, The Spot disappears into a void that has connections to other universes.

Through one of the portals, he encounters Mrs. Chen, who was played by Peggy Lu in the live-action Venom movie, in her shop. As usual, she is unbothered and not surprised to see the unexpected guest.

This woman has seen a lot of things, how can she be surprised by a spot-faced cartoon character who has entered her dimension through the teleport on his body? Better luck next time.

3. Zoë Kravitz

Hopefully you remember Zoë playing Mary Jane in Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse five years ago. But if you don’t, we’re here to remind you.

In the film’s second installment, she reprises her role in a scene where she delivers an important monologue about parenthood with Peter B. Parker and the inevitability of change.

Although her appearance in the film is brief, her speech plays a pivotal role in the plot.

4. The Lonely Island

The film also features appearances by members of the comedy band: Jorma Taccone and Andy Samberg.

While Taccone provides the voice of the Renaissance-era Vulture, Samberg provides the voice of Ben Reilly, also known as the Scarlet Spider, who has a significant role in the film.

Both actors bring their comedy styles to their roles and who knows, maybe this duo will come up with an iconic song for the Beyond the Spider-Verse movie.

5. Andrew Garfield and Tobey Maguire

With archival footage of Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield, the film also includes some visual nods to the live-action Spider-Men.

When Miles Morales appears in Spider-Society, Miguel O’Hara fills him in on the case they’ve been solving and terminates “canon events” connecting the Spider-Man variants, including the deaths of Uncle Ben and Captain Stacy.

As Miles is shown the following events, viewers can see the tribute to Cliff Robertson’s Uncle Ben, with Maguire’s Spider-Man leaning toward him, and Gwen Stacy’s father’s death in the arms of Andrew Garfield’s Peter Parker — the footage from previous Spider-Man movies.
