Amid the superstar’s plans to take a break, some reports claim that this most ambitious Mogul project has been shelved indefinitely due to Laal Singh Chaddha’s box office failure. According to reports, ” Aamir Khan was supposed to start work on Mogul after finishing work on Laal Singh Chaddha, but now the lead producer of the film T-Series has shelved the project indefinitely. Reports further claim that Mogul’s suspension is as a result of the failure of Laal Singh Chaddha at the box office and currently the makers are reluctant to put money into the film.
According to reports, Mogul was a Gulshan Kumar biopic and Aamir Khan was all set to play the lead, but Laal Singh Chadha’s failure changed everything. Mogul was supposed to be directed by Subhash Kapoor, but now that it has been decided to postpone, he has moved on to a successful franchise and is working on Jolly LLB 3. Akshay Kumar was reportedly slated to play the lead in Mogul, however he decided to give up.

In Coffee With Karan 7, Aamir ad admitted that right now he will focus more on his family life as compared to his professional life as he feels that he has lost a lot of precious time with them as he has been busy with work.
